2361731 - Mandatory Activities For Sales Cycles Can Be Skipped Without Warning

It is possible to change the Sales Phase while skipping Tasks set as Mandatory via the Activity Advisor.

PREREQUISITE:

Activity Advisor is set up with mandatory Tasks for Opportunities.

Example: Mandatory Tasks exist for the Sales Phase at 30% and at 60%.

1. Go to the Sales work center.
2. Go to the Opportunity view.
3. Open an Opportunity ABC (ABC represents the name).
4. Change the Sales Phase from (for example) 1% to 90% directly.
5. Click Save.

RESULT: ABC is saved and the field Sales Phase now shows 90%. No warning or error message was triggered.

When the Sales phase is switched to 90% , there are no warning messages because there are no activities set as mandatory for this phase.
If you switch to phase 60% , you will see the warning message since this phase has mandatory activities listed.

This is expected system behaviour.
