Symptom

  • Running initial load from GRC framework fails with error in the DSE log  

    fromDSA.doSearch got exception, returning false

    java.lang.Throwable: [LDAP: error code 1 - (GRC Lookup

    Service:1:Exception

    in GRC WS API call:(0)null)]

  • Checking the debug Operation trace of the Virtual directory Server (VDS) you also see the below error
