When external users access the LMS from an external site created by an Admin, they may notice that the cover page and the additional details displayed in it are not available to them.
Environment
Learning Management System (LMS), external sites.
Reproducing the Issue
- Click on the external site link provided by the LMS Admin
- Notice the cover pages are not displayed
- But when logged as an internal user, the same items display the cover pages
Cause
The cover pages feature was not implemented for external users.
Resolution
Should a customer wish to have their item's cover page displayed to external users in future releases of the LMS, they will need to create an enhancement request in the Community Portal.
