2364614 - Application Error When Saving Employee Information During Manage Pending Hire in Onboarding 1.0

Symptom

Receiving an error message in Employee Central when saving the Employee Information:

An Application error occurred. Please try again later, or copy the below error information and send it to your support group if the issue keeps occurring.

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Manage Pending Hires (MPH)
  2. Choose the Candidate
  3. Start the hire process
  4. Select save

Resolution

If you are receiving the error message as indicated, please copy and paste the error message that is in the display box into a new support case.

Support Engineers:

  1. Once the error message has been provided, review the error message logs.
  2. For this particular case the logs files showed the error to be "Hirable or hired flag is selected for more than one application status set item. Application id is:"
  3. The solution is to check the application status set under the Admin Center. Reference the Implementation Guide Section 8.1
