Symptom

During an upgrade or update using Software Update Manager (SUM), you receive the following error in VERSCHK_INI phase:

CURRENTPHASE PREP_INIT/VERSCHK_INI

...started at 20160427141936

..finished at 20160427141937 with status FAILED.

# Error message set: 'Start Release configuration 'CCM=200_640,PI_BASIS=2005_1_640,SAP_ABA=640,SAP_BASIS=640,SAP_BW=350,SRM_SERVER=500,ST-A/PI=01S_640,ST-PI=2008_1_640'
