2365155 - Asset Under Construction Settlement Run Finishes With Message: There Are No Settlements To Be Posted For The Current Selection

You have executed an Asset under Construction Settlement Run expecting the system to settle the values from an Asset under Construction (AuC) into a final asset.

However, while checking the Messages tab of the respective run you notice the information message: There are no settlements to be posted for the current selection.

1. Go to the Fixed Assets work center.
2. Go to the Periodic Tasks view Settlement subview.
3. Open the respective AuC Settlement Run.
4. Go to the Messages tab.

You can see the information message: There are no settlements to be posted for the current selection.

Among other reasons, the error message might have been thrown because the AuC you selected in the Data Selection of the run comes from data migration.

For AuC settlement the cost to be posted to final fixed asset should only come via a cost posting (not-migration), so it has to be a real cost posted into the system via a project task which is assigned to the AuC.
The costs which are posted to the AuC through any other way other than through a project task would not get settled into the final fixed asset.

If the assumption raised in the section above fits to your case (meaning you have executed the Settlement Run for a migrated Asset under Construction), to transfer the costs to a fixed asset you can do a manual transfer from AuC to the fixed asset, instead of a settlement run.
