Symptom

The Web Intelligence Java Applet crashes in macOS Sierra.

This can occur at different times, such as:

  • When the Applet is loading
  • Once the Applet is loaded, any workflow that would involve working with the underlying filesystem

The Applet may dissapear without error, or return an an error stack similar to:

java.io.FileNotFoundException: /Users/username/foldername - zSample Report Refresh.xlsx (Operation not permitted)
