2368306 - Msg 15424 - Adaptive Server cannot access the encryption key with object id : ASE

Symptom

  • Create encryption key with a user having sa_role (including user 'sa')
  • Transport the encryption key from one server to another server using DDLGEN utility
  • On the target server while querying the encrypted table, you see the error:
Msg 15424, Level 16, State 3:
Server 'ASE', Line 1:
Adaptive Server cannot access the encryption key with object id '592002109' in database 'encryptdb'.
