Symptom
You are trying to import an integration definition ie, a .icd file in Integration Center (IC) and your encounter the below error:
"Resource not found in the system data model: xxxxxxxx"
"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental"
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
Reproducing the Issue
- Navigate to Integration Center and click on Create > Import an Integration:
- Upload the standard .icd template definition:
- The error below appears:
Cause
Cause 1: The OData entity mentioned doesn't exist in the SuccessFactors instance.
Cause 2: The data model is not updated.
Resolution
Solution 1: Create your own integrations in Integration center with the available entities in your instance. You can see the available entities in OData Dictionary (IC runs based on OData API).
If the entity is from Employee Central module and you do not have it enabled, the mentioned entity is unavailable and hence cannot be utilized.
Solution 2: Perform a Metadata Refresh and try to import the integraiton definition again (refer to KBA 2171588).
