2369171 - File size limit for web preview in SAP

•  What is the file size limit to view the file inside SAP Jam ?
• SAP Jam doesn't preview the file even though it is not greater than 524288 bytes.
• The error message still appears even though the initial file size is less than the specific limit (524288 bytes).
• The error message states, "The converted document size exceeds 524288 bytes limit for web preview. Please download to open it".

SAP Jam Collaboration

•  The limit in SAP Jam is on the size of the converted file, and not on the initial file size.
• SAP Jam converts the uploaded spreadsheet/file into a format that we can use internally to render the web preview.
• Beyond that limit, you can still upload and download the spreadsheet file, but SAP Jam will not be able to render the web preview.

This is the current product design. We may enhance this in the future; however, we cannot confirm on the fix date yet.
