2369631 - How to add a Custom Tile with an image and a link

This KBA provides instructions on how to create a Custom Tile with an image and a link in Learning.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Learning Administration > System Administration > Application Administration > Landing Page Settings >
2. Click 'Create Custom Tile' >
3. Add information into Step 1 >
4. In Step 2, add title and description >
5. In the big textbox select the 'Add Image' button >
6. Select 'Upload' tab >
7. Choose the file and load the file >
8. Click the 'Send it to the server' button >
9. You will now have the image added > Hit ok >
10. Back to the Step 2 screen, select the 'Add Link' button >
11. Add the respective URL >
12. Click Preview and Save it >
13. Go to the Learning User side (the user should belong to the Organization ID added when creating the custom tile) >
14. When clicking the link added to the tile, the user will be redirected.

Note: Images uploaded to a custom tile are not sharable across other organizations' tiles:

• Once the image is uploaded to a custom tile, it can only be accessed by users belonging to that tile's specified organization.
• This means that the image URL cannot be copied and pasted into the source of another organization's custom tile.
