2371223 - Pay component not appearing in Compensation portlet

Created Pay Component which is a non-recurring component. However it does not appear in the compensation port let under Pay Component dropdown.

Role based permissions has been provided and Display to self-service is set to yes?

The moment we change the component type to recurring, the component starts showing up in the compensation portlet. We can’t make the component a recurring one as it is not.

Pay component does not come up in portlet for Pay Targets when its set to Recurring = No.

Non-recurring pay components will not appear in the Compensation portlet not even for the Pay Targets. They will appear under Spot Bonus Portlet.

Inside compensation portlet we have two types of records/ portlets for recurring pay components.

 

1. Recurring=Yes and Target =Yes, It will be displayed inside "Pay Targets" section of the Compensation Information portlet.

2. Recurring=Yes, Target=No, It will be displayed in the "Compensation" first section of Compensation Information portlet.

3. Recurring=No, It will be displayed in spot bonus portlet which is outside normal compensation portlet.

 

 

 

For the pay components to appear under Compensation Information portlet the pay component should be set as Recurring = Yes.
