2371773 - Error "HALT: Maximal number of continuation files reached". Export of transport request ends with error.

The release of a transport request (or the export of a client using a transport request) fails with the following error message:

HALT: Maximal number of continuation files reached

The tp parameter FILESPLIT is used. It can be seen here:
STMS --> Overview --> Systems --> double click in the system where the transport request is being released --> select the 'Transport Tool' tab

If we expand the first part of the export log file it can be also seen if the FILESPLIT parameter is being used:
 > filesize = <value of FILESPLIT parameter>
