Symptom

  • Replication is from SAP ASE to MSSQL through ECDA/MSQL
     
  • Insert or update binary zero (0x0) to 'varchar' data type column
     
  • ERROR #1028 DSI EXEC(109(1) mssqls2012.repro) - dsiqmint.c(4719)
            Message from server: Message: 105, State 0, Severity 15 -- '[[Message Iteration=1|Data Source Name=mssqls|SQLState=42000|Native Error=105|
            Message=[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server]Unclosed quotation mark after the character string ';;'
