2373626 - Enable Configure Custom Navigation and grant permission

• You can control visibility of a custom navigation links by selecting the permission roles and groups who should be able to view the link;

In order to enable the Configure Custom Navigation, follow the steps below. (As a customer, you don't have access to Provisioning. To complete tasks in Provisioning, contact your implementation partner or Account Executive. For any non-implementation tasks, contact Product Support.):

1. Go to Provisioning's Company Settings.
2. Select "Configure Custom Navigation."
3. Save.

After that, Give both of the following permissions to an administrator permission role:

• Administrator Permissions > Manage System Properties > Company System and Logo Settings
• Administrator Permissions > Manage Action Search > Manage Action Search

Note:

• Permission Roles will grant access to the entire role. If the role is granted to multiple groups each with their own separate target population the targets will not be respected. Custom Navigation Permissions grants to the whole role and not just the defined targets.
• Quick card and PP3 take action should contains same custom navigation items, but pp3 take action has one more permission check in RBP:  "Update Employment Records (displayed as 'Take Action' button)". This permission needs to be assigned
• If the error "This page requires “Manage Role-Based Permission Access” permission to function correctly, but you do not have this permission" is received when accessing the tool this means that the user is missing the "Edit Role" and "Edit Group" permission in the "Manage RBP Admin and Super Admin Access" tool. Please grant this permission and re-try.
