2373873 - You Cannot add Custom Field as a Control Field in the Code List Restriction for the Lead BO

You cannot add Custom Field as a Control Field in the Code List Restriction for the Lead BO.

1. Go to the Administration work center.
2. Select Code List Restrictions.
3. Create a new Code List Restriction.
4. Enter Lead in Business Object value help.
5. Add a value (field) in the Code to Restrict.
6. Under Controlled Field -> Select radiobutton for the Extension Field.
7. Select the value help for the Extension Field.
8. No entry appears, though the custom field XYZ  is available at the header of the lead (XYZ represents the name of the custom field).

This is the expected behavior of the SAP Cloud for Customer, you need to follow the steps provided in the Resolution section.

Currently there is a technical limitation for Lead BO due to whcih below steps are required when creating Code List Restriction for Custom Field of the Business Object Lead:

1. Go to the Administration work center.
2. Select the Code List Restrictions.
3. Create a new Code List Restriction.
4. Enter Lead in the Business Object value help.
5. Add a value (field) in the Code to Restrict.
6. Under the Controlled Field -> Select radiobutton for the Extension Field.
7. Select the Value Help of the Extension Field.
8. Select Advanced option in the Value Help screen.
9. Under Subgroup section -> Change the Business Object from LEAN_LEAD to Lead.
10. Select 4 - Code in the Representation Term Code field.
11. Select the Go button.
12. The custom field XYZ appears.
13. Select the XYZ field.
14. Proceed with the next steps of the creation of Code List Restriction for the Lead BO.
