2373941 - Profitability Reports: Only Financial Reporting Structures Of Type Function of Expense Are Available For Selection In The Contribution Margin Scheme Field

You want to execute one of the profitability reports (reports belonging to data source Profitability Management, e.g. Profit Overview by Key Figure) for a Contribution Margin Scheme XYZ. However, when you open the dropdown list for Contribution Margin Scheme field you notice that the XYZ is not listed.

The reason is that such Financial Reporting Structure XYZ you want to select is not of structure type Function of Expense.

1. Go to Business Analytics work center
2. Go to Design Reports view
3. Open any one of the profitability reports (e.g. Profit Overview by Key Figure)
4. Enter the required data (e.g. Profit Type, Company) and click the Value Selection icon to open the dropdown list of Contribution Margin Scheme field

Notice that only financial reporting structures of type Function of Expense are available for selection (e.g. IFRS I/S by Function of Expense).

The profitability reports show only those financial reporting structures of type Function of Expense. This type is defined at the time of creation of the reporting structure.
