MDF Position: No Permission error on updating position record via Succession Org Chart

SuccessFactors BIZX: Succession

1: Go to Succession Org Chart

2: Search for any position and click on Show & Edit Position

3: Update data in any field and click on SAVE, error comes as below:

4: Go to Manage Positions via Admin Center

5: Search for the same position and click on Take Action

6: Update any field and click on SAVE, updated record gets saved without any error.

The necessary MDF permission needed to update position record via Succession Org Chart would be missing due to which users are not able to update position record via Succession Org Chart.

1: Search for the required role of the user who is trying to update the position record via Succession Org Chart

2: Go to 'Manage Permission Roles' and click on 'Permission' tab

3: Go to Miscellaneous Permission and search for the Position

4: Give the Insert Permission to Position object and save the changes

5: Logout and Login again and you will be able to update position records via Succession Org Chart.
