2375066 - Class Registration Notification with outlook calendar invite OR .ics as attachment

How can we enable SAP SuccessFactors Learning to send out Registration Notification e-mail with Outlook Calendar Invite or .ics as an attachment.

Please, follow below instructions accordingly.

• To receive .ics as an attachment:

1. Navigate to Learning Administration > System Administration > Configuration > Global Application Settings > Mail tab
2. Enable “Enable Vcalendar attachments”
3. Disable “Send Vcalendar attachments as Calendar Invite”

• To Received Outlook invite as a mail:

1. Navigate to Learning Administration > System Administration > Configuration > Global Application Settings > Mail tab
2. Enable “Enable Vcalendar attachments”
3. Enable “Send Vcalendar attachments as Calendar Invite”

Please note: The .ics extension itself is a calendar file saved in an universal calendar format, and it is compatible with Windows, Mac and Linux applications.

In case of any problem when opening the file extension, we suggest you to contact your company's IT team to check what are the settings which should be changed in order to open the file based on your application preferences.
