2376883 - How to Process Older Version of Alien Resident Card Form I-551 in Orientation Step - Onboarding [I-9]

How to update the document number if candidate selected List A Permanent Resident Card or Alien Registration Receipt Card (Form I-551). Below are the common triggers.

• Alien Resident card is old and does not have a document number or an expiration date
• Not able to process through the Onboarding in Orientation Step, US I-9 Section 2

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding - 1.0

1. Navigate to SAP SuccessFactors HCM > Onboarding
2. Open an active candidate activity in Orientation Step
3. On the panel at section 2 for Employer Review and Verification
4. Unable to continue due to missing value

Older Alien Resident Card

Instruction

1. Navigate to SAP SuccessFactors HCM > Onboarding
2. Open the affected candidate 
3. On the panel name 'Section 2: Employer Review and Verification'
4. Select 'No' to the question 'Does the I-551 have a date on the card?'
5. For the field 'Card #' enter 'AAA0000000000'  that is 3 'A' and 10 Zero's.
   
   
   
   
6. Tick the checkbox for the disclaimer: 'I reviewed the document selected above. It identifies the employee and proves the employee is eligible to work in the U.S.'
7. Verify the Start Date or change to update the new Start Date of candidate
8. Click 'Next' button to proceed with the next panel

Note

• Once you answer 'No' to the question 'Does the I-551 have a date on the card?', the panel will refresh and remove the requirement to enter the expiration date
• The older version of Alien Resident Card that does not contain an identification number or expiration date, kindly process the document by following the above instruction
