2377325 - SAP PD is not responding while reversing a large Oracle script file

Symptom

  • When reversing a large database/script, SAP PowerDesigner has reached 44% quickly then it is not responding for a very long time (possibly for more than one hour) until it completes.
  • This issue happens when the target DBMS is ORACLE Version 12c, whereas the response times are very good when it targets either ORACLE Version 10g or 11g.
