Symptom
- When failing over using the Always-On (HADR) feature, the DR_maint user password is changing in RepServer, but that it is not changing in ASE.
- The connection to a replicate database goes down due to a bad password.
- The HADR RepServer password protection configuration parameters are set to the following by default:
hide_maintuser_pwd set to ‘on’
maintuser_pwd_expiration set to 7
- The following errors are reported in the ASE log:
