Application error when employee attempts to resubmit dependent workflow

Employee makes changes in the dependent portlet and workflow triggers.

The approver (say manager) sends back the workflow.

When employee resubmits the workflow an application error occurs.

Splunk Log:

The issue occurs on combination of 2 steps:

1. When the workflow is initiated via business rules and

2. On resubmitting the dependent workflow

This is fixed in 1611 release.

As of now the only workaround is decline the workflow and create a new workflow.
