2379071 - Nomination History dialog does not complete loading

When opening the Nomination History for a position in Succession Org Chart, the dialog does not complete loading.

SAP SuccessFactors Succession Management

1. Go to Succession Org Chart;
2. For a given position node that has nominations, click “Nomination History”;
3. The dialog keeps on loading and the information is never displayed:

This may be caused by one of the succession planners or the proxy user not having the first and last name defined, causing an error when the system is retrieving the nomination history.

To solve this issue, it is necessary to identify the succession planner who has blank information on name fields, by reporting on nomination history, and define a name for the user. To do so, follow below steps:

1. Go to Reporting > New > Table;
2. Select Domain "Succession History";
3. Under People tab, select Other filters;
4. Under Columns, select some fields to identify the Position (code, position title), the incumbent and nominee basic information (username, first name, last name), and select all fields under Nomination History Information;
5. Under the Filters tab, filter by the position code that you are having this issue with;
6. Preview or generate the report;
7. Review the “Modificator First Name”, “Modification Last Name”, “Proxy First Name” and “Proxy Last Name” columns for blank values.

For example, in the below report, user “smadmin” has blank values for both first and last name: 

Once you identified the user that is causing the issue, it is necessary to define a first and last name for the user. After the name is defined, you should be able to see the Nomination History correctly.
