2379082 - Executive Review - Configuration elements which can impact performance

• There are certain factors and elements that, when configured on a compensation template and when exceeding certain limits, can have a clear impact on the performance of Executive Review when displaying or applying filters.
• This KBA tries to summarize this and to define guidelines or maximum values which should be avoided to exceed so we can ensure Executive Review's performance is correct.
• The combination of these elements when used above the limits defined have a clear impact on Performance.

Below you can see the list of possible configurations which can have a direct impact on the Executive Review performance.

Elementes with High Impact	Size and Number of Lookup Tables	Lookup Tables are accessed in real time by Executive Review to calculate the values to be displayed. The Number of Lookup tables that can be used can be high if the total of combined entries is not very high. The size of the tables will depend on the number of entries, so both conditions are related	Maximum combined number of entries of 10000
Elements with Moderate Impact	Number of users displayed in Filter	The system recalculates the values displayed for all users when filters are applied. A larger number of results displayed after applying filters will have its impact on performance.	Maximum number of users displayed after applying filters of 1000
	Number of Filters defined at Data Model Level	SuccessFactors allows the definition of additional custom filters that will be applied to Executive review and can be defined at Data Model Level. A larger number of filters defined and the possibility of defining some of these filters containing several possible values increases the possibilities of latency or performance issues when applying the filters as the system will need to review each of them separately.	With the number of filters not being limited, it is recommended not to define custom filters that contain more than 10 possible values
	Number of Custom Fields in the template	The number of custom fields defined on the template can have an impact on the Executive Review performance if the implementation defines a very large number of these fields	It is recommended not to exceed the creation of 100 custom fields on a template
Elements with Low Impact	Youcalc Maximum entries for Compensation Widget	When the YouCalc Maximum Entry Size is manually modified above the default value, Executive review can experience some latency.	During b1611 a new limitation was added to the syste. This setting will be configurable through Actions for All Plans> Company Settings.
Variable Pay Only	Enable Performance Optimization	If this setting is not enabled then Executive Review may experience performance issues.	By default this setting should be set to True. This is under Plan Setup> Settings.
