2379716 - SMP Server hangs when mobile users logs in - SMP 3.0 (Agentry) - Error 11

  • Load balanced or clustered SMP 3.0 server nodes have issues with mobile users connecting in long term usage to the primary node (i.e. 2ndary nodes works fine)
  • Implemented SAP note "2366884 - SAP Work Manager - PUSH users fail to disconnect cleanly when remote session delete fails to complete in SMP" but issues on connecting to SMP 3.0 still occurs
  • Followed SAP's recommendation to purge the following tables in ERP using SAP standard purge utility programs:
    • Schedule these jobs periodically System Statistic Table /SYCLO/SYSLOG001 - contains statistic records for mobile client activities
      • History of all BAPI wrapper calls from mobile client and external middleware server are recorded in table /SYCLO/SYSLOG001
      • This table can grow very large overtime
    • Synchronization Session History Table /SYCLO/MDW01 - Synchronization session history table /SYCLO/MDW01 contains statistic records for mobile client sync sessions
      • This table can grow very large overtime
  • Followed the SAP technique of deleting the active non-used versions of the Agentry applications in SMP, users have 5 active Agentry app versions in Production, needs to delete 2 versions to avoid more memory utilization
  • Increased the JVM Min 8 GB and Max 16 GB
  • Increased the RAM from 32 GB to 50 GB in all 3 Apps servers
  • Added new application server to the cluster and pointed the web dispatcher to it, now the web dispatcher routes the request to the different nodes instead of the primary node
