2380452 - Fiori flower loading animation missing after upgrading SAPUI5 version to 1.38.6 or higher

Symptom

SAPUI5 library has been upgraded to 1.38.6 or higher. One (or both) of the following symptoms can be observed:

  • When launching Fiori Launchpad, the initial loading doesn't show the Fiori flower loading animation
    AND/OR
  • When launching an application from SAP Fiori Launchpad, the Fiori flower loading animation is missing
