Symptom

  • WACS (Web Application Container Server) running with errors in CMC (Central Management Console) -> Servers
  • WACS properties show the following error under 'Web Application Container Service'
    Service started with errors. Details: The following connector(s) failed to start: HTTPS

  • Error in WACS logs:
    Failed to start connector: HTTPS, error: Certificate store file does not exist: E:\WACS\truststore.jks (FWB 010014) (FWB 010016)
    com.businessobjects.framework.servers.common.BackendException$ConnectorStartException: Failed to start connector: HTTPS, error: Certificate store file does not exist: E:\WACS\truststore.jks (FWB 010014) (FWB 010016)
