Symptom

TRANSFER-ABAP-INFO step in a dual stack upgrade using Software Update Manager(SUM) fails with the latest <SUM>\sdt\log\SUM\TRANSFER-ABAP-INFO_xx.LOG containing the following error:

[Error ]: The following problem has occurred during step execution: com.sap.sdt.util.diag.DiagException: Could not transfer ABAP upgrade exchange information from file <SUM>/abap/mig.
File <SUM>/abap/mig/INFO.DAT not found.
