2381511 - BI Mobile 6.4.13 iOS SDK crashes on application launch - iOS 10

Symptom

  • Launching the iOS SDK BI Mobile application on a device (physical or xCode simulator) using iOS 10 crashes immediately
  • If running from a simulator, the following error will be seen in xCode:
    SAP BusinessObjects Mobile[29210:2198562] *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '*** setObjectForKey: object cannot be nil (key: mobi.database.sec.key)'
    libc++abi.dylib: terminating with uncaught exception of type NSException
