2381596 - Error Message: Profit Center ABC not Found on MM-DD-YYYY

You are receiving an error message while posting a Recurring Journal Entry Voucher.

Profit center ABC not found on MM-DD-YYYY

1. Go to General Ledger work center.
2. Go to Journal Entries view.
3. Go to Recurring Journal Entry Vouchers sub-view.
4. Click New -> Recurring Journal Entry Voucher .
5. Enter all required parameters and choose Post.

You get an error message: Profit Center ABC not Found on MM-DD-YYYY

The validity of the profit center is not viable as of today and ended before the posting date of Recurring Journal Entry Voucher.

You can check it on the Organizational Structure:

1. Go to Organizational Management work center.
2. Go to Organizational Structure view.
3. Find the Profit Center XYZ.
4. Go to tab Timelines.
5. Check attribute Profit Center.
6. You will see the valid to date is not valid on the moment that Recurring Journal Entry Voucher was posted.

In order to adjust the validity of the Profit Center, please follow below steps:

1. Go to Organizational Management work center.
2. Go to Organizational Structures view.
3. Click Find, search for Profit Center XYZ and click Locate.
4. Click Edit.
5. Go to Timelines tab.
6. Here adjust the valid to date accordingly. It is necessary that profit center is valid on the day to post Recurring Journal Entry Voucher.

In case you do not want to use the profit center XYZ and hence do not want to extend its validity you must assign a different one to the Recurring Journal Entry Voucher.
