2382111 - Non-Mandatory questions in Surveys L3 level FAQ

Common customer questions about surveys in LMS:

• Can we have questions which are non-mandatory in L3 surveys?
• Can we have L3 surveys for both Manager and Learners with different questions?

Currently the system provides two options in order to whom this survey can be sent to, for example it can be sent to employees or supervisors separately or for both at the same time as we can see in the screenshot below:

Both users here will receive the same survey with same set of questions asked so that we can get a feedback for example if learners objectives are met and managers can compare and contrast performance levels, in other words we can not  include two different sets of questions in one survey for both participants at the same time.

In regard to non-mandatory questions, as this is L3 that it is optional to answer, currently this is not available at question level but users have the ability to either provide or not provide an answer to the questions asked.

Please note that L3 surveys are not made required for item completion which means that some users can opt out of filling them unlike L1 surveys and regardless of item completion you still have the option to enforce survey completion or not by your desired participant as shown in the screenshot.
