2382417 - Manage Users is not available in Admin Center

Symptom

  • Feature Manage Users is not available on admin center.
  • When searching for Manage Users in Action Search, no results appear. 
  • When the Employee Central module is enabled, the feature Manage Users is not available.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. When customer searches for Manage Users in Action Search
  2. No results appear
  3. When customer navigates to Admin Center
  4. Cannot find the Manage Users configuration

Cause

  • Employee Central module is enabled. Manage users feature is only available for non EC instances
  • For on EC instances, in Provisioning, Employee Central option Effective Dated Data Platform is enabled

Resolution

  • In case the instance has Employee Central enabled, you will need to grant permissions to Import Employee Data though the below steps:
    1. Manage Permissions Role
    2. Search and select the role tha you want edit
    3. Click on Permissions > Manage Users
    4. Enable Import Employee Data
  • In case the instance does not have Employee Central enabled, Employee Central options such as Effective Dated Data Platform should be disabled in Provisioning.
