2382417 - Manage Users is not available in Admin Center

Symptom

  • The feature "Manage Users" is not available in Admin Center.
  • When searching for "Manage Users" in Action Search, no results appear. 
  • When the Employee Central module is enabled, the feature "Manage Users" is not available. 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

Reproducing the Issue

  1. No results appear when searching for "Manage Users" in Action Search
  2. Cannot find "Manage Users" in Admin Center

Cause

  • Employee Central module is enabled. Manage users feature is only available for non EC instances.
  • Employee Central module is not enabled, but the Employee Central option Effective Dated Data Platform is enabled in Provisioning.

Resolution

  • In case the instance has Employee Central enabled, you will need to grant permissions to Import Employee Data by following the steps below:
    1. Go to "Manage Permissions Role"
    2. Search and select the role that you want edit
    3. Click on Permissions > Manage Users
    4. Enable Import Employee Data
  • In case the instance does not have Employee Central enabled, Employee Central options such as Effective Dated Data Platform should be disabled in Provisioning.
