Symptom

  • SAP Transportation Management (TM) integrated with SAP ERP
  • Freight Unit (FU) created from Order-Based Transportation Requirement (OTR) generated from Sales Order.
  • Attempting to split the FU via an Item quantity returns error:
     
    Cannot split <Item Name> Schedule Line 100001 - item type does not allow splitting
