Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

Cause

If using Approval Processes for users to enroll into Classes, some of those Approval Processes aren’t processed by the time the class begins. The Deny Expired Processes Automatic Process cancels any approval process for a pending enrollment or external learning request if the start date of the class or event has already passed. Learners no longer need approval for the classes because they can no longer attend.

Resolution

This is an expected behavior caused by running the 'Deny Expired Approval Processes' Automatic Process. The Approval Process Report and Approvals on the User record display Expired as per the Cause section above.
