2383861 - Application template access in SMP 3.0 MBO runtime causes internal server error - SMP

After installing SAP Mobile Platform(SMP) 3.0 MBO runtime SP11 and selecting Application Connection Templates in SAP Control Center(SCC)
an internal server error is displayed.
When deploying a new .jar package in SCC the deployment finish successful but the Application Connection Template is not visible and no synchronization is working.

The following errors can be found in the SMP logs:
