2384181 - LMS Item Connector removes the online content from the Item when update file runs

Running the Item connector to update an Item removes the existing online content (content object) that was attached

SAP SuccessFactors Learning Management System (LMS)

1. Logon to LMS Admin >
2. Create a test Item >
3. Add content object to the Item >
4. Create item connector file with the Item ID created in Step 2 >
5. Update fields like Credit Hours, CPE Hours, Item Title, etc >
6. Upload the file to the SFTP the connector is setup to access >
7. Set up and Run the Item Connector >
8. Go to the Item on the Admin side, the online content (content object) was removed.

• This is expected behavior if the Completion Status is not provided in the input data file
• When the Completion Status is not set on the item input file, this will be interpreted by the LMS that the Item is not an Online Type, and will change the type to Other, only if this is a first time upload as a new item

To preserve the online content (content object) please include the completion status on the input file

If the online completion status (CMPL_STAT_ID) is provided the classification is ONLINE (Item type: Online), this is documented in the connector workbook
