2384445 - REORD REBUILD...WITH ONLINE fails with Error 2628 followed by Error 605 - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • On a table marked with the "dbcc tune (des_bind)" command.
  • When running the "reorg rebuild" command with the "with online" option
  • ASE errorlog reports Errors 2628 and 605 in close succession:

Error: 2628, Severity: 21, State: 3
In database 'DATABASE', page 5595283 is linked forward to page 5595284, but that page is linked backward to page 5620424.
Please report this internal error to Sybase Technical Support.

An attempt was made to fetch logical page '6467200' from cache 'default data cache'.
Page belongs to database 'DATABASE' (4), object '<Unknown>' (1487834248), index '<Unknown>' (2), partition '<Unknown>' (1487834248)
and not to database 'DATABASE' (4), object 'TAB01' (1311833621), index TAB01' (0), partition '0TAB01_1311833621' (1311833621).
