This KBA outlines the steps on how to have a direct link from the Performance Management form directly to the blocks in People Profile.

Resolution
- In Leagacy People Profile, each portlet will get a unique blockId for PM form link
- To know the blockid and blockType, go to Admin Center > Configure People Profile > Add section & block to get the Block Id & Block Type
- Once you have the information, configure it in the template via Admin Center > Manage Templates > Performance Review > Click PM Template & Edit fields and sections
- Configure PM template with Block Type, Block Id, and link on PM form
(Code should be: [[BLOCKLINK|blockid|blockType|dispalyname]])
- If the portlet is not available on the user's profile page, it is regarded as unauthorized portlet in PM form
Q&A for block link in Latest People Profile:
1.Can I continue using the block link in form if I enabled Latest People Profile?
Yes, you can. The configuration in form template is still working.
2.How can I configure block links with Latest People Profile?
To find the block ID in Latest People Profile, follow this KBA 3218732 - How to Handle Sections in Configure People Profile
- Access Manage data.
- Search "EmployeeProfilePageConfig".
- In the second tab, select "PP3Page (PP3Page)".
- Click the relevant section/subsection Details, and then the necessary block details.
- The block ID will be under the column "Code".
3. Since 2H 2025, it is supported to directly configure Latest People Profile card links to forms. For more details refer to Adding Latest People Profile Card Links to Forms.
Please note, that the name of the block in Manage data should be the same as in Manage Business configuration tool, if it's different, correct it and save the changes.
Note:
- Currently, this function has not been supported in Mobile.
- When user has permission for the specified block/portlet and blocklink is included on PM form, after clicking on it a pop-up window will appear with the block/portlet. Currently it is not possible to open in a new tab.
- The link will show the portlet of the logged in user.
