2385126 - Purchase Order Search Filters do not work with Free Text search

Symptom

You are trying to sort the columns in Purchase Order Overview List e.g. fields like PO Acknowledgment Status, Delivery Status, Invoicing Status  using wild cards or free text search but they are not getting sorted.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Goto Purchase Requests and Orders work center
  2. Select view Purchase Orders
  3. Select Filter option and sort the columns PO acknowledgment status, Delivery Status and Invoicing status using wild cards like *Follow* or *Ack* etc.

  4. However, we could see Sorting does not work

 

Cause

  1. For Status and PO Acknowledgment Status columns, Filtering and Sorting will work fine if we enter the whole description of the status for example, like *Follow-Up Document Created* or *Deviation in Acknowledgement*

  2. For  Delivery Status and Invoice Status columns, Filtering and Sorting do NOT work since these are calculated fields.

Resolution

This is expected system behavior.
