Symptom

  • when starts Non-Blocking sockets on ASE server, hits java.io.IOException
  • Specific platform is not granted to access the SAP JRE implemented  PCA/JVM HostAPI
  • After adding POLL (/dev/poll) support within SYBPCIDB, permission support within the SAP JRE implemented PCA/JVM HostAPI do not take account for specific platform (Sun Solaris)
