2386243 - Introscope Host Adapter tries to connect to wrong System or wrong(old) instances after changes in the managed system

Symptom

  • After perform changes in the landscape, for example remove an instance or an entire system from a server, the Introscope Host Adapter application keeps trying to connect to the old instance or system. The SMDAgentApplication.log shows errors related to the old instances.

  • You can also found error messages like:

    "Error      com.sap.smd.wily.hostagent.destination.HttpDestination - init: ICP file copy aborted [EXCEPTION]com.sap.smd.wily.hostagent.PermanentException: Configuration error: target directory '/usr/sap/<SID>/W<ID>/data/icmandir/admin/publicicp' does not exist resp. is not accessible"
