Symptom

  • Some users will intermittently receive the following error when navigating BI Launchpad or Central Management Console:

HTTP Status 500 - java.lang.RuntimeException: org.apache.jasper.JasperException: java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method com.businessobjects.bip.core.web.appcontect.AppWebSessionContext.getLangDirection() of a null object returned from com.businessobjects.bip.core.web.appcontext.RequestInfo.getSesCtx()
