2387287 - Recommended collections in Assignment Profile - SuccessFactors Learning

After creating a collection as an admin and attempting to make it Recommended through any Assignment profile, we notice that the "Recommendations" tab is not present in the relevant section of the Assignment Profile to add collections.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Access Learning Administration
2. Navigate to Learning Activities-> Collections-> Create collections using 'Add New'
3. Then, Navigate to to Manager User Learning-> Assignment Profiles
4. The "Recommendations" tab is not available.

It is possible that the property "enableItemRecommendations" is disabled in the LMS_ADMIN configuration.

Please verify and enable this property by following the steps below to populate the "Recommendations" tab in the Assignment Profile.

1. Access Learning Administration
2. Navigate to System Administration-> Configuration-> System Configuration 
3. Search for configuration 'LMS_ADMIN', and open in edit mode
4. Search for property "enableItemRecommendations="
5. Enable the property by setting it to "true" if it's currently set to false.

Once this is done, you will be able to see the "Recommendations" tab in the Assignment Profile, and you can add the collections by choosing the option 'Add Collections'.
