2388084 - Error "Could not open app. Try again later." in SAP CP when trying to launch application

Symptom

  • When trying to open an application in the SAP Cloud Platform (or Portal) you receive the error "Could not open app. Try again later."
  • In the browser's console log you find the errors below:
    • "Error: resource undefined could not be loaded from /sap/bc/lrep/content/.../manifest.appdescr"
    • "Failed to load UI5 component for navigation intent #<intent> ..."
