2388193 - How to configure PostgreSQL ODBC connection for BI4 On Linux

Symptom

  • Unable to refresh a report off a PostgreSQL ODBC connection
  • The same connection works fine in Windows environment
  • Error from customer:

    "[unixODBC] [DriverManager] Driver's SQLAllocHandle on SQL_HANDLE_ENV failed (IES10901) (Error: INF)".

  • Error from SAP Support: "Database error:[unixODBC][Driver Manager]Data source name not found, and no default driver specified. (IES 10901)(Error: INF)
