2388718 - No message server or too many message servers found - SLD does not recognize ABAP system

Symptom

  • The Central SLD is not able to recognize ABAP system after running transaction RZ70.
  • The SLD log file shows the folllowing error message:
[SLD Data Supplier Processing] ERROR com.sap.lcr.sagent.specificbuilder.AbstractBuilder: Supplied data for /sld/active:SAP_BCSystem.CreationClassName="SAP_BCSystem",Name="SID.SystemNumber.000000000.SystemHome.host" is corrupt. Thrown:
com.sap.sld.api.wbem.exception.CIMException: CIM_ERR_FAILED: No message server or too many message servers found. Number of server(s): 0
