Symptom
We have been trying to work on the Instance and getting the below issues:
1) Unexpected Applications Errors
2) Failed Jobs
3) Configure Object Definition is not searchable
We have tried to refresh the RBP but the issue still persists.

Reproducing the Issue
For Internal Users:
Go to Provisioning-> Monitor Jobs -> Click on details link beside any recent failed jobs.
In the details if you find this error key "EMPLOYEE_HRIS_GO_HIGH_NO_OF_DATAMODEL_BUILD_REQUEST".
It means data model is locked for build. Hence, system is not behaving properly.
Resolution
If you found that background jobs are failing due to error "EMPLOYEE_HRIS_GO_HIGH_NO_OF_DATAMODEL_BUILD_REQUEST" it is an intermittent issue is reported due to lock of data model.
This issue started after 1611 release on preview instances.
The reason issue in your instance is fixed might be due to server restart which they have done to fix this scenario temporarily.
- This is happening because there was a code change implemented last weekend which is causing this issue. The problem is that the MDF data model cannot be rebuilt from the database in some of the application servers.
What steps can we take to correct this issue:
- Fix Patch (PTCH-24727) to address this issue has been applied on November 13th, 2016.
Work-around:
- Clear the browser cache or use a different web browser so that the browser uses a different application server.
