Symptom

  • SRS 15.7.1 lets you run Replication Server on either symmetric multiprocessor (SMP) or single-processor platforms:
     
    • On a single processor platform, Replication Server threads run serially.
    • On a multiprocessor platform, Replication Server threads can run in parallel, thereby improving performance and efficiency.
       
  • Replication Server’s multithreaded architecture supports both hardware configurations.
