You can find on the MDS logs the following error returning from Oracle:

Service 'XYZ', Schema 'xyzxyz', ERROR CODE=28001 ||| ORA-28001: the password has expired, Last CMD:
Furthermore, when trying to mount a repository, the following error is shown in the MDM Console client:
"Unable to connect with Database Server"
When trying to connect to the repository, the following error may also appear:
"Repository Connect Failed Error: Invalid Object State"
